WHAT IS OPTIMUM HT:

Optimum HT is a Warp Knitted, high tension, low elongation, Tension Fabric, manufactured from state of the art, UV stabilizedand Fire retardant, multifilament polypropylene, high tenacity, yarns.
Optimum HT, has taken 15 years of research and development, into the production of specialized polypropylene yarns, that would lead to the manufacture of the only high tension Polypropylene knitted fabric of its kind in the world.

THE UNIQUE PROPERTIES OF OPTIMUM HT:

  • Optimum HT is a low mass , high tensile strength, tension fabric, with a low elongation, and is Warp Knitted in a Pentagonal profile, resulting in little, or no distortion under tension.
  • Optimum HT, with its high tensile strength and low elongation properties, is able to span greater distances, without the need of intermediate supports, thus reducing structural costs, dramatically.
  • Optimum HT has a very high burst strength, in excess of 5 kN.
  • Optimum HT is highly reflective, and when used as a “Shade Cloth”, has shown, under the South African sun, to reduce the temperature under the fabric, by 12° C to 15° C below ambient temperature.
  • Optimum HT , because of the high reflectivity of the yarns, also exhibits high shade levels.
  • Optimum HT exhibits high levels of UVR Blockout.
  • Optimum HT is digitably printable, without the need for any pretreatment or post treatment of the fabric.
  • Optimum HT can be coated with hot extrusion coatings, or with laminates, again, without any pretreatments or post treatments.
  • Optimum HT has a high resistance to tearing, as a result of the uniform tensile properties, and elongation properties, in both the warp and weft directions.
  • Optimum HT mobilizes tensile forces immediately, due to the low elongation properties.
  • Optimum HT is 100%recyclable.
  • Optimum HT is heat weldable.

WARRANTY

 Norsenet Industrial warrants that, the Optimum HT, Polypropylene, Fire retardant, UV Stabilized, Multifilament fabrics, will not exhibit significant deterioration from Ultraviolet exposure only, for a period of 8 years, from the date of purchase.

Norsenet Industrial will not be held responsible to replace any portion of the fabric which exhibits no evidence of material degradation, caused by Ultraviolet Light. The warranty does not extend beyond the resistance to UV degradation. If the fabric does exhibit significant deterioration caused by UV light, during the warranty period of 8 years, then Norsenet Industrial, will only after extensive testing of the fabric, 

replace the portion of fabric exhibiting significant deterioration. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the OptimumHT, and no claims for reimbursement of installation expenses, or any consequential claims, indirect or direct, will be entertained.

 Norsenet Industrial accepts no responsibility whatsoever for damage or injuries caused through failure of the fabric, or failure of any part of any structure, to any party or property. It is the responsibility of the party using the OptimumHT, to ensure that the fabric is free of possible mechanical flaws, and is suitable for the application, before the
fabric is erected. Except for the warranties set forth above, Norsenet Industrial, expressly disclaims and
excludes, all other guarantees , warranties, conditions and representations, either express or implied, whether arising under statute, law, commercial usage or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability and suitability for a particular purpose. Norsenet Industrial’s total responsibility shall not exceed the value of the OptimumHT fabric in
question, on a pro – rata basis as follows;

  • After 1 to 2 years usage, Norsenet Industrial will contribute 80% of the cost of replacement OptimumHT only.
  • After 2 to 3 years usage, Norsenet Industrial will contribute 60%of the cost of replacement OptimumHT only.
  • After 3 to 4 years usage, Norsenet Industrial will contribute 50%of the cost of replacement OptimumHT only.
  • After 4 to 5 years usage, Norsenet Industrial will contribute 30%of the cost of replacement OptimumHT only.
  • After 5 to 6 years usage, Norsenet Industrial will contribute 20%of the cost of replacement OptimumHT only.
  • After 6 to 7 years usage, Norsenet Industrial will contribute 10%of the cost of
    replacement OptimumHT only.
  • After 7 to 8 years usage, Norsenet Industrial will contribute 5% of the cost of
    replacement OptimumHT only.
  • After 8 years usage, Norsenet Industrial will not contribute any further costs.
